Accident with Confinment on Twindell Curve

This morning, Company 59 and Rescue 88 were dispatched to Twindale Curve for an accident with injuries with possible confinment. Rescue 59 responded and once on scene took command 59. The accident involved a single vehicle into a tree with one patient still inside unable to get out. Rescue 88 arrived on location and assisted the 59 crews with extraction of the single patient. The patient was extracted by pushing the dash and removing the shifter to make it an easier extraction. Command marked extraction complete in 6 minutes, the patient was packaged and care was transfered to EMS. Command then placed all units in service with no more fire services needed. Units were out for about a half an hour.
