Accident with Possible Entrapment
This morning, Company 59 was dispatched to an accident with injuries. Dauphin county dispatch was receiving many reports of entrapment and a vehicle smoking, possibility on fire. Chief 59 responded and had three vehicles, a tanker truck, a box truck along with a white Honda Civic, with negative fire and one person still in the vehicle injured. The Rescue and Engine responded, once arriving the patient was out of the vehicle being transported, and were advised of no entrapment and no fire. The crews secured the vehicles and assisted with fluid control. The box was held to company 59 units. The units were on scene for about an hour.

After the accident was clear and units were put back in service. The Engine and Rescue were dispatched to Middletown for a fire alarm. The crews did a walk down of the building and restored the fire alarm system. Command then placed us in service.
