Structure Fire at Holiday Inn
This morning, Engine 59 was dispatched to the Holiday Inn on Lindle Road for a structure fire for a first alarm assignment. Engine 41 was first on the scene with a working fire in the laundry room at the rear of the structure. Engine 59 responded moments after the first alarm was struck with four personnel, while responding their were reports of entrapment on the forth floor of the structure, which was proved false after continued searchs. Engine 59 arrived and sent manpower to Engine 41 to assist. The crew went to work ventilating the structure and walking down the third and forth floors checking for extension do to the heavy smoke condition on all the floors. Engine 59s crew then helped inside the structure with the guests of the hotel while the floors were being vented. After about 2 hours command began releasing units including Engine 59.
