Tanker and Engine to 48 Box Structure Fire

Yesterday, Tanker 59 was first dispatched to a shed fire in Derry Township. Tanker 59 responded with two within a few minutes of dispatched. While in route a visible thermal column could be seen from station 59, which command later upgraded to a first alarm due to the single family dwelling being heavy involved with fire. Tanker 59 arrived and staged per command. Once Truck 46 arrived command requested that tanker 59 supply the truck with water. After a few hours the Tanker was placed in service by command 48.

Once the Tanker arrived back at station 59, Engine 59 was dispatched to help with salvage and overhaul operations for the use of the CAF (Compressed Air Foam) lines available on Engine 59. Engine 59 responded non-emergency to the scene. Once Engine 59 arrived, the crew pulled an inch and 3/4 line off and assisted as needed. The crew returned after about three hours.

Great Job to all the crews on the Scene.
