This is a Bucks County Community College Certificate Course.
Course Title: Courtroom Preparation for First Responders
This program is an awareness level training program identifying the legal responsibilities of the first responder, as well as, the possible situations and circumstances that surround public safety services. This program will provide the student with an overview of the laws and standards as they apply to emergency service providers. Discussions will relate to specific laws and standards that relate to organizational operation and administration. This program places emphasis upon the development of knowledge, communication skills, documentation, report writing, organization and preparatory skills and techniques used by emergency service personnel to achieve an efficient documentation system, department operating guidelines, and professional handling of legally sensitive incidents.
This Course is FREE of charge.
The Lower Swatara Fire Department Auxiliary will provide FREE lunch both days.
THIS COURSE IS OPEN TO ANY FIRE DEPARTMENT WILLING TO ATTEND.
