Billy Goldfeder Dinner and Seminar

Tonight, May 24th, the Lower Swatara Fire Department held a Billy Goldfeder dinner and a presentation that was titled Survival Program…”NOT everyone goes home.” Chief Goldfeder presented to the attendees through video, audio and a “WAKE UP” lecture using very recent and timely fireground events with a focus on dwelling fires that ended in tragic results. This presentation was very personnel and presented with high energy but professionalism. The presentation was not just about who lost their lives but how it happened and what have might been done that may have prevented the loss. Chief Goldfeder will say, “It’s great to say everyone goes home but is that the reality?” Some firefighters do and some don’t…this seminar helped everyone understand why and why it is so important to think about: “Who is in YOUR wallet?”

The Dinner and Seminar was attended by many fire departments around in and around Dauphin County, with about 200 attending. It was a great presentation by Chief Goldfeder and we Thank him for his time and dedication to the fire service.

Thank You for Everyone Attending!

Local Businesses also sponsored the event, Thank You.
