Working Vehicle Fire at PSU
This Morning around 1:30 a.m., Box 59-1 was struck to 777 West Harrisburg Pike for a possible vehicle fire. Chief 59 responded and were advised of the Police Department on location with a working vehicle fire. Engine 59-1 responded within minutes and was right behind Chief 59. Chief 59 arrived on location with a working fire, setting up command 59. Engine 59-1 stretched a single handline and started fire suppression while the other crew members started marking access to the hood and rear of the vehicle. The crew knocked the fire down within a few minutes, with most of the fire confined to the dash and engine area. Chief 59 marked control within a few minutes. The crew picked up and Command 59 placed the box in service.
