Tanker responds to another 2nd Alarm Fire

Last night around 11 pm, Company 39 (Grantville) was dispatched to a possible working house fire in the area of Manada Gap Rd. Chief 39 responded and once on scene advised of a well off barn fire and requested the first alarm assignment. After about 10 minutes, a second alarm was struck for tanker which brought in Tanker 59 to the scene. Chief 59 and FF Eiswerth responded less than a minute after dispatch, and was advised to start shuttling water from Crawford RD to the dump site. As Tanker 59 was doing water shuttling operations, Engine 59-1 was dispatched to transfer to station 39 to stand-by for any calls in the area with Annville Rescue 5. Engine 59-1 responded with Lt. 59, the crew spent about three hours standing-by until being released by Command 39.
