Oberlin Road House Fire

Saturday Morning, around 03:45 hour’s, Box 59-3 was struck for a house fire. Chief 59 and Engine 59 were en route immediately with a visible smoke column and fire. The company was familiar with the location due to battling a fire on the same street on Thursday over 36 hours before. Engine 59 arrived with a working fire in a 1.5 story residence with fire throughout the structure. Chief 59 arrived right with engine 59 and requested a first alarm assignment along with additional tankers due to no hydrants in the area. The engine crew’s deck gunned the fire along with truck 88 setting up master stream operations. The crews out for over five hour’s extinguishing hot spots.
