Busy Wednesday for the Daylight Crew (Call 2-4)

Tanker 59 responded and once on scene the crew was requested to go to work immediately. The crew went to the second floor to open up then made their way to the third floor to assist with extinguishment. Once all the fire was knocked down salvage and overhaul was started. The tanker crews assisted with closing up the house and with equipment clean up. Once the house was sealed up, command placed Tanker 59 available after about 3 hours of operations on scene. A great job was done by all the crews especially two the first in crew that made a grab of a trapped occupant in the fire building.

While the tanker crew was out at the structure fire, Rescue 59 along with Utility 59 responded to two medical assists, for a total of 4 emergency calls before noon today.
