This weekend, the east coast forest crews returned home from battling the Alaska wild fires. The Lower Swatara Fire Department is the mobilization point for all local crews in the state due to the close proximity to Harrisburg International Airport. The crews were cooked breakfast, lunch and dinner before returning to their home states. The crews were from all over the east coast that includes Pennsylvania, Maryland, Maine, New Jersey, Delaware and a few more. A total of 170 were deployed to Alaska with all returning home safety.
