WHTM 27 News and the Kiddie Fire Systems came through again this year to make sure that there are smoke detectors in every home. Through this program, WTHM 27 News has provided smoke detectors to all departments for us to install in homes, free of charge.Dauphin County has received over a skid of Smoke Detectors and Carbon Monoxide alarms to provide to citizens in our area. The shipment was sent to Steelton Fire Department where they distributed the detectors to each department. Every department in Dauphin County received over 12 detectors and 2 Carbon Monoxide Alarms for the citizens of Lower Swatara Township.
