2nd Alarm Commercial Structure Fire in Grantville

Early this morning, company 39 was dispatched to the “Grantville Restaurant” for a reported structure fire with multiple calls advising the roof is on fire. Chief 39 marked up immediately reporting the fire from his residence and quickly hit the first alarm. Chief 39 arrived a few minutes later reporting a working fire with fire through the roof. Tanker 59 was dispatched as part of the second alarm assignment with Tanker 59 responding immediately. Tanker 59 arrived on location dumping their water at the scene then proceeded to the fill site to start shuttle operations. Tanker 59 dumped another 2,500 gallons of water then proceeded to wait further instructions as operations slowed due to a bulk of the fire being knocked down.
